The Devil's identity revealed, MJF loses, and Jon Moxley becomes the first-ever AEW Continental Classic Champion

AEW Worlds End 2023 was a night of surprises and upsets, as The Devil's identity was finally revealed, MJF lost his AEW World Championship, and Jon Moxley became the first-ever AEW Continental Classic Champion.

The show kicked off with a bang, as The Devil was revealed to be none other than MJF's former friend and ally, Shawn Spears. Spears attacked MJF from behind, costing him his match against Jon Moxley in the AEW Continental Classic final. Moxley would go on to defeat Spears in the finals, becoming the first-ever AEW Continental Classic Champion.

In the main event of the evening, MJF defended his AEW World Championship against Konosuke Takeshita. The match was back-and-forth, with both men coming close to victory on several occasions. In the end, it was Takeshita who would emerge victorious, dethroning MJF and becoming the new AEW World Champion.

  • Darby Allin defeated Samoa Joe to retain his AEW TNT Championship.
  • The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) defeated FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) to retain their AEW World Tag Team Championships.
  • Jamie Hayter defeated Hikaru Shida to retain her AEW Women's World Championship.
  • Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Ricky Starks to win the FTW Championship.

AEW Worlds End 2023 was a night to remember, with plenty of surprises and upsets. The show has set the stage for an exciting 2024 in AEW.
